Copy the link
In the Instagram app, tap the paper plane under the reel, then Copy link. On a computer, open the post and copy the address, or use the ••• menu.
Paste a reel, post or photo link and save it as MP4, MP3 or JPG. No ads, no sign-up.
Works with public reels, video posts and photos.
By using Zavvid you agree to our Terms of Use.
Zavvid saves public Instagram reels, video posts and photos straight to your phone or computer. Paste the link, pick MP4, MP3 or a photo, and the file downloads from Instagram's own servers, so it arrives as fast as your connection allows. No app, no account, no ads.
Any public reel or video post, kept in its original vertical or square shape.
Save the video as MP4, keep only the sound as MP3 or M4A, or pick a photo out of a post.
The file is Instagram's own, exactly as it was uploaded. Zavvid adds nothing to it.
Three steps, and the file is on your device.
In the Instagram app, tap the paper plane under the reel, then Copy link. On a computer, open the post and copy the address, or use the ••• menu.
Paste the link into the box above and press Start. You can also paste a link anywhere on this page.
Pick MP4 for the video, MP3 or M4A for the audio, or the photo you want, then tap Download.
Paste a public reel, post or photo link and save it the way you want. No sign-up, no ads, no pop-ups.
Zavvid hands you the file Instagram itself serves, without re-encoding it, so nothing is lost on the way and the download starts almost instantly. That file is normally 720p, which is what Instagram prepares for playback in the app.
Audio on Instagram is light by design, around 56 kbps, and that is the ceiling for an MP3 too. It is fine for speech and background music, but it will not match a music streaming service.
Zavvid runs in your browser, so there's nothing to install. On iPhone and iPad the file lands in the Files app under Downloads; open it, tap Share, then Save Video to put it in Photos. On Android it appears in your browser's downloads and in your gallery.
Install Zavvid from your browser's menu on Android and it joins the share sheet, so a post can be sent to it from Instagram itself. iPhone doesn't let a website join the share sheet: there, tap the paper plane, choose Copy link, then paste it here.
On Windows, macOS and Linux it goes to your usual Downloads folder.
Zavvid works with content that is public: reels, video posts, photos and carousels from open accounts. If you can see a post while signed out of Instagram, Zavvid can usually fetch it. A post holding both a video and photos is treated as a video.
Private accounts, stories and anything that needs you to be signed in are out of reach, because Instagram only shows those to a logged-in account.
Zavvid is free, with no premium plan and no ads. There are no accounts and no download history, and the file is streamed to you rather than stored on our servers.
Downloads are quick because the video comes straight from Instagram's own network, with Zavvid only passing it along.
Got questions? We've got answers.
Copy the reel's link in the Instagram app (tap the paper plane, then Copy link), paste it into the box on this page, press Start, then choose MP4 and tap Download.
No. Instagram only shows stories to people who are signed in, so they cannot be downloaded here. Public reels and video posts work.
Yes. Paste the post's link and every photo in it is offered, one button per picture, each at the size it was uploaded. Pick one, download it, then pick the next. A post that mixes a video with photos gives you the video.
No. Zavvid only reaches content that is public, exactly what you would see while signed out of Instagram.
No. You get Instagram's own file as it was uploaded. Zavvid doesn't add anything to it.
Yes. Choose Audio, then MP3. Instagram's audio is about 56 kbps, so an MP3 is good for speech and background music rather than high-fidelity listening. M4A keeps the original audio untouched.
Whatever Instagram serves, normally 720p. Zavvid passes that file along without re-encoding, so nothing is lost and the download is quick.
It is free, with no sign-up, no app and no ads. Fair-use limits keep it fast for everyone.
That depends on where you live and what you download. Save only what you own or have permission to save, respect copyright and Instagram's Terms of Use, and don't repost other people's work as your own.
The post may be private or deleted, or the account may have been made private. Instagram also limits how often it answers, so waiting a minute and trying again usually works.
